Molly the Horse

Molly the Pony – Inspiring Hope, One Gallop at a Time!

There once was a pony named Molly, who lived with her owners in Louisiana. But then came Hurricane Katrina…

After Hurricane Katrina, Molly was on her own, her owners nowhere to be found in the aftermath of the terrible storm. Within a few weeks, she was rescued and taken to a farm.

But there Molly was attacked by a pit bull and ended up with a severely damaged front leg. Things didn’t look good for Molly, until her rescuer Kaye noticed something unusual.

She observed that Molly had a strong survival instinct, trying to take care of herself and her injured leg. This inspired Kaye to help Molly in her struggle to survive. Molly’s damaged leg was amputated and she was given an artificial one.

And with that, Molly was almost literally off and running! Today, Molly is in good health and spends her days inspiring hope in others through her amazing tale of surviving and thriving!
