Rachel’s Challenge – Spreading a Legacy of Kindness

logo-rachels-challengeRachel Scott was a girl who was beautiful on the inside and out. She was funny and friendly, and she loved to act and write in her journal. But Rachel was best known for her kindness – she was incredibly kind and uplifting to everyone she met. On April 20, 1999, Rachel’s life came to an end. She was the first victim of the shootings that happened that day at Columbine High School in Colorado.

Since then, Rachel’s family has carried on her legacy of kindness. Rachel’s father, Darrell Scott, created Rachel’s Challenge, which is a powerful program for schools designed to spread Rachel’s message of kindness and stop bullying. Rachel’s Challenge combines school and parent presentations with interactive training. The program enables kids and their families to take immediate, positive action to spread kindness and end bullying in their schools.

This video tells about Rachel’s Challenge and the impact it’s having.
