12 Year Old "Grace the Slime Lover" Builds an Empire of Slime!

Grace is a 12 year old girl from Connecticut with a love of….slime!  She liked to play with it and then, with the help of some YouTube videos, she started to make it.

In fact, she likes slime so much, she started a slime business called “Grace the Slime Lover”!

Grace started by selling the slime she made in a “slime shack”  that she built with her dad!  Grace used her birthday money to buy the materials to create the shack.  It is located in her front yard near the end of the driveway so that local customers can drive by and buy slime!  It very well may be the only slime shack in the world!

Over her first summer Grace sold slime there on 3 different days and earned over $100 all together!

Over time, with different experiments, she now makes all kinds of slime with different colors, scents and additives, such as beads and glitter. She sells them in a variety of sizes with names like cotton candy, American ice, blue frosting and butterslime!

In addition to this, Grace now has an Instagram account where she posts daily slime videos. She now has hundreds of followers!

More recently, Grace opened an Etsy store so she could sell slime and mystery boxes online. She now sells to customers all over the world, including Europe and Australia!

She has many plans to grow her business further. Who knows where her slime empire will stop?

Grace provides a great example of a young person creating a business out of something that they love to do. Here is an inspiring video with examples of other inventions and businesses started by kids!
