Harry Moseley – He Rose Above His Misfortune to Help Others
When Harry Moseley was just 7 years old, he and his family were given terrible news. They were told that Harry had an inoperable brain tumor. Harry and his family were devastated, but they still tried to do everything they could. They sought medical treatments to try to combat the tumor, and he still went to school as much as possible, trying his best to live a normal life.
But most important of all, Harry kept a positive attitude. While receiving one of his treatments, Harry met another man with brain cancer, and out of compassion for this man he decided to try to help him by raising money! Thus the idea for Harry’s organization, Help Harry Help Others, was born. Sadly, Harry recently lost his battle with brain cancer, passing away on October 8, 2011. But his legacy will live on, because today, Help Harry Help Others has raised thousands of dollars to help raise awareness for brain cancer research!
