Mo's Bows – Giving Style and Now Giving Back

Meet Mo (Moziah Bridges), one of the snappiest dressing 10 year olds you will ever meet! Mo is also the founder and CEO of Mo’s Bows, a company he started to make and sell one of his favorite clothing items: Bow Ties!

When he was just 4 years, Mo already started dressing nice. He would ride his tricycle in a suit and play at the park in a shirt, tie and shorts! When he had trouble finding kid bow ties in cool designs, he asked his Grandma to teach him how to make a bow tie using her hand sewing machine.

Soon after, Mo started his business Mo’s Bows in Memphis, TN when he was just 9 years old. His business has caught on. He has been featured on local and national news programs. He has his own online shop and other shops that carry his products.

Not only has Mo started his own successful business, but he has also started the Go Mo! Summer Camp Scholarship Fund where he sells some of his ties to send kids to summer camp.  Last year he was able to send two children to camp.

Mo’s giving back reminds us of  other  inventors who were focused on helping people such as Ben Franklin who did not seek to profit from his inventions.   Franklin once said “as we enjoy great advantages from the inventions of others, we should be glad of an opportunity to serve others by any invention of ours; and this we should do freely and generously.”

Mo’s passion and enthusiasm for fashion is very clear and a big part of his success.  We can all learn a lot from Mo, his business and his desire to give back.
