Talia Leman – Just a “Random Kid” Who’s Helping Change the World

When Talia Leman was 10, she thought she was just an ordinary kid. One day, she was watching TV and saw Hurricane Katrina in the news. She felt sad for the people in the hurricane and wanted to help. She set a goal of raising $1 million and came up with a plan. Her plan was called “TLC” – Trick-or-treating for the Levee Catastrophe. It worked, better than she ever thought – instead of $1 million, she raised $10 million!

Talia wanted to do more to help those in need. So she helped found RandomKid, which is based on the idea that ordinary kids can do extraordinarily good things for the world. Today, RandomKid works with over 12 million kids to help those in need all over the world. Here is a video all about RandomKid.
